Tracy Herman is a freelance writer who has written about everything from financial planning to drag racing. She earned a bachelor of arts degree in journalism from the University of Wisconsin at Madison. Tracy didn’t even know she liked cats until a stray orange tabby tomcat showed up on her doorstep a few years ago. She resides in Southern California with her converted cat loving husband and her beautiful felines, Cina and Mocha.

Dr. Pamela Peth is a veterinarian with Arbor Animal Hospital in Irvine, Calif. She has taken care of Cina and Mocha since Tracy began fostering them in May 2000. Dr. Peth reviewed the feline health and safety information in the book to ensure its accuracy.

Laura Stanton is a freelance graphic artist who has been on staff with the Dallas Morning News, the Chicago Tribune and The Washington Post. She resides in St. Louis, Mo. Laura designed and illustrated the book from cover to cover.
